Where I Buy Make-Up

I thought it might be useful to give you guys a quick run down of where I go to buy my make-up. Different places for different things and all that.

1. Boots
I go to this marv high street pharmacy for all my hair and shower products, plus all my drugstore make-up (apart from Sleek and Gosh).  It's  great shop, staff and brilliant, and best of all, their Advantage Card points system is brilliant.  I managed to buy a full size Givenchy Hot Couture perfume recently with a few months' worth of points!  They also always have 3 for 2 or BOGOF offers on a lot of their brands, so it's purse-friendly too.  They do also carry some high end bauty lines (Clarins, Chanel, YSL, Lancome, Dior, Estee Lauder, Elizabeth Arden, Origins, Biotherm, others what I have probably forgotten) so it really is a one-stop-shop for all things cosmetic. LOVE.  Apart from their website which is a pile of rubbish. Sort it out please.

2. HQhair.com
I've used this website for years now.  They carry a great range of products, from Nars to Frederic Fekkai through OPI and Barielle.  I'm not sure that their prices are cheaper than anywhere else, but they're certainly not more expensive, plus they always seem to have sales and discount codes knocking around.  Good website and speedy and neatly packaged delivery too.

3. Superdrug.
Another British high street pharmacy chain, this is where I go for Sleek and Gosh products, as they don't seem to be available anywhere else.  Another great shop for offering 3 for 2 offers and the like.  They also have some own brand skincare lines which are surprisingly good.

4. Cherry Culture
US site where I go for NYX stuff. Bought stuff from them recently for the first time and am very impressed with overall user experience and delivery (3 weeks to the UK on cheapest shipping option). HUGE haul post coming soon :)

5. OPI and Essie nail polish
I have unearthed a treasure trove of a place in the deepest, darkest depths of East London.  It's a wholesale place that sells Essie, OPI, China Glaze and Seche Vite, plus general nail care items, for less than half the RRP.  Wholesalers can do this kind of great thing.  There are lots of places like this in every major city.  I recommend searching for beauty wholesalers in your area and giving them a whirl.  I wouldn't buy my nail polish from anywhere else now.  They carry basically every single colour - a dream!

6. E.L.F.
Self explanatory really.   Love E.L.F. Love them.

7. Mac
Again, self explanatory.  Website is great, shops are great.  I always go to the Pro Store in Fouberts Place though, so that I have a full choice of products.

8. Space NK
Finally, this is my big treat shop.  A boutique-style beauty chain, Space NK carries the best of the best.  By Terry, Chantecaille, Nars, Laura Mercier, Dr Brandt, etc.  Usually I only go around Christmas; I will often buy my sister a nice piece of make-up, and as I'm there, it's rude not to choose something for moi.

Hope that's interesting and a little helpful.  Where do you buy your beauty goods? Any recommendations always welcome!
