A Lorra Lorra Lipbalms...

It's a little bit ridiculous really...but what can I say?  I don't like having dry lips.

L-R:
Lucas Papaw Ointment - very nice, like a raw version of the Eight Hour Cream, if that makes sense.
Lanolips 101 Ointment - honestly...it hasn't blown me away like I thought it would.  It is good on very dry lips but it's not quite the miracle worker I was hoping for.
Chuan Spa Manuka lip balm - a sample I got from a posh spa treatment.  Very average and quite oily.
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream - or as I like to call it, The Neverending Balm.  I've had my tube for over two years and use it often and liberally, including on sunburn.  Does it finish?  DOES IT MY EYE.
Nivea SPF 30 lip balm - great for holidays or hot-climate dwellers.  Don't over apply though or you'll end up with white marks (Cricket Lips).
Yu-Be Moisturisng lip balm - totally love this one.  It's like a slightly cooler Chapstick and just as effective.
Neutrogena lip balm - this is my absolute must-have in the winter.  Outperforms all others on the market if you need speedy dry lip healing.  Quite thick but not greasy and doesn't leave a white caste.  Irritatingly I can't find this online but it's stocked in chemists and Boots with the lip balms.
Eos lipbalm - fun (see below), not massively effective though and smells very plasticky.
Boots Marshmallow lip balm - bought it purely because it smells nice.  Pretty crap though.
H & M Watermelon - smells divine.  See here.
Vaseline Rosy lips and Shea Butter - I've actually just got rid of both of these.  I've realised I really don't like Vaseline; I find it just sits on the skin rather than penetrating to the other layers to really do anything effective.  My days as a Vaseline customer are over.
See what I mean about fun?  It's a little ball of lipbalm goodness!

Recommend me some amazing lip balms please.  I don't have enough.

  1. I love Jack Black lip balms! I find they sit on my lips but also penetrate through the layers. I need them to stay on my lips or I feel they aren't effective but still ease my chapped lips! Plus they come in a variety of flavours. They're all clear which I like.

  2. I really love my Burt's Bees tinted balm in Red Dahlia (I think), lovely colour and makes my lips feel soooo soft!
