Rituals Hamman Hot Scrub

I always think that part of to sticking with a beauty regime is finding products you enjoy using and see results from quickly.  Let's face it, despite all wanting to believe we're not fooled by product advertising anymore and are all angelic when it comes to cleansing, toning and moisturising, we are all guilty of letting standards slip from time to time, and the area where I frequently truant from is body care.  Living in an....unpredictable climate, I'm not living in constant fear of a bikini and sundress, so I admit I don't always take the time to exfoliate and moisturise my body like I should.

I LOVE body products, love love love them but I just don't keep up with using them regularly.  As I said, this is partly because I want to find things that I love and which give me results quickly, and I'm pleased to say I seem to have struck salt scrub gold with this Rituals Hamman Hot Scrub.  I have it in the scent Warming Ginger & Fresh Eucalyptus.  It smells so beautiful, very comforting and clean and herbal, perfect for my shower time.
The salt particles, which are pleasingly large and nicely abrasive, are saturated in oil so you get scrubbed AND moisturised at the same time (ideal for us lazybones).  Two small scoops are plenty to scrub me from ankle to collarbone, and, because I love this so much and it leaves my skin incredibly smooth and soft, I've been doing it twice a week.  Every week.  For six weeks.  In fact you might say it has become a ritual.*

  2. I love when you find a product that you enjoy using so much that it becomes a sort of ritual! I'm the same with my Lush fresh face masks :) Every Friday morning without fail! xo

  3. I love Rituals, I have a diffuser in my bathroom that smells amazing (I'm sure you wanted to know that). I haven't yet ventured into their scrubs though. How is the dairy-free diet coming along? Eagerly awaiting your Part 2 post :)
